After some research into how people exhibit their necklaces for shows or for sale, I decided to go for a simplistic idea with a triangular front which reclined a little to allow the necklaces to rest upon the surface. I used the hard-board wood from my light project and made a template for my design. I then through about how to recline my board so the jewellery could sit flat on the surface. I decided to add a frame stand on the back to allow it to stand. I glued a hinge on the back to allow it to be collapsible and also added a string base so it would only recline to a certain amount. I then added some notches on the top to make sure my jewellery would hold in place. I am pleased with the result because they look clean and professional and I can also reuse them again.
