Tom Fruin – Stained glass house

Tom Fruin is the artist who created this beautiful stained glass house which he called Kolonihavehau, which you can find in Copenhagen, Denmark. The work takes its name and inspiration from Copenhagen’s ubiquitous kolonihavehus: a modest garden shed originally intended to give state workers a refuge from cramped living conditions in the city. I find it extraordinary especially when it is lit up at night. I decided to research this as it Tom Fruin uses stained glass in a decorative way like how we use it in our glass workshop.
